Welcome to the Ilkley Pool & Lido Community
We’re a group of Ilkley residents passionate about the Pool and Lido and the benefits they bring to West Yorkshire.
Our group was formed to protect and promote the two pools when they faced potential closure due to council budget constraints.
The overwhelming support from the local community and swimmers from across the North of England has been instrumental in bringing the Pool and Lido back from the brink, showing how important they are for people’s wellbeing and how fundamental for Ilkley’s heritage and social fabric.
