Full Moon Swims 2026 CANCELLED

Dear friends

We are devastated to have to cancel the Full Moon Swims.

Very sadly Bradford Council has recently confirmed a very significant increase in the fees for us to hire the Lido, making the event unviable. The current 300 ticket sales for instance for 31st May don’t even cover the new costs. As soon as the new hire costs were confirmed a month ago we offered the Council the opportunity to take over the event, as clearly there is a lot of income from the tickets and it is such a popular and great event. Sadly they have not agreed to do so. Obviously if we had known these new prices at the outset we would never have put tickets on sale. 

So with very heavy hearts we are cancelling, and we are so sorry to disappoint you. Shortly you will be getting notice from Eventbrite of the cancellation and a refund of your tickets. 

If you don’t mind we will keep your email address for a couple of weeks in case there is a change of heart in the Council. 

We do hope we will see you pool-side or in the water at the Lido and please do continue to support our treasure.
